Geocache Description:

Close to M42 Junction 10

The above coordinate are for the safe parking area.

The coordinates for the main cache are located in the micro which is a film container. From the micro it is best to return to your car and drive along the estate road, the cache is about .6 of a mile along the road.

You are on the site of a former Coal Mining Pit. The final cache is very near where the pit shaft was located, behind you is a factory which is in some of the original pit buildings. Along the path, if you walk along it you will come to the pit village of Piccadilly where the miners used to live.

As you went along the estate you saw a large hill on the left hand side this is the spoil heap from the pit. do not venture on here it is an MOD firing range which is in constant use and you will see the signs and probally the red flags when firing is in progress.

If you want food or drink Planters Garden Centre is just along the main road from the estate entrance.

The main cache is a 1ltr Tupperware type box.
