Geocache Description:

In the 19th century the „Syr“ Valley between Wecker and Mertert was a well developed industrial area. There were at least 10 mills using the power of the Syr to work. Some of them are still existing today. In former time part this area was also cultivated with vineyards. For further information well free to visit the house “ a Wiewesch” in Manternach.

You do not have to leave the track except for the final. WP’s might be a little bit off as the sat reception is very poor in this area but this should be no problem as there are no micros to search.

Have fun and good hunt
