Geocache Description:

Ammo can well camo'd, can was door prize at event in Tx. This is near the "Old River Road" which was the original route into the Ocala National Forest. Access on foot from Delancy Loops Trail Head

Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, the author of many major literary works, including The Yearling, which received the 1939 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, the novels South Moon Under, and Golden Apples, and her memoir, Cross Creek. Marjorie Kinnan was born in 1896 in Washington, DC, to Frank, an attorney for the US Patent Office and Ida Kinnan. She was interested in writing as early as age six, and submitted stories to the children's sections of newspapers until she was 16. She entered a story titled, "The Reincarnation of Miss Hetty," at age 15 for which she won a prize. As an adult she traveled the "Old River Road" and spent time at nearby Lake Delancy.
