coronasv: Visited today to replace cache container and do some general maintenance to find there has been a substantial fall from the roof meaning this cave in NO LONGER SAFE. Original cache has been removed so please do not visit.

Thanks to all those that have visited. A lot of the logs have made me chuckle and there have been some great photos too.

Geocache Description:

Cache is in an old series of small quarries. I am told that this is where local villagers used to quarry their own stone.

There is a path leading up to the cache site and i would suggest you stick to this for as long as possible because it gets very uneven underfoot from that point on!

Cache is located inside a small cave and you are going to have to get dirty to retrieve it so dont wear your sunday best.

Entrance to cave is small but i am a hefty 15.5 stone. Once inside it opens up a bit and you could fit 3/4 adults in.

Probably not for the claustrophobic and you will need a torch.
