This cache has been archived.

IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

This geocache is located on SWA or STL property. Notices were posted by Geocaching HQ on August 5, and September 2 to add the required text to educate players about permit requirements. The deadline was September 30, and that date has passed. Unfortunately, this geocache is now being archived. This geocache cannot be unarchived.

Thanks for your understanding,

Geocache Description:

In a parking lot of a state wildlife area.

Accidents happen. We needent go into details about why this cache is named as such, but...accidents happen. This is a quick cache and dash on the way up to Red Feather. We have planted a few caches in the Red Feather/Crystal Lakes area, and we found that there are vwry few caches between Livermore and Red Feather-unacceptable!!! (Oh yeah, check out our beginnings of "Unacceptable" caches in Ft. Collins i.e. parks without caches). Maybe this will give you motivation to go ahead and head up the mountain on a caching spree.

This cache is in a parking lot for a state wildlife area. You do not need a habitat stamp to achieve this cache. You simply need to park in the parking lot, utilize the GPS, and probably, very easily find this cache. It is a micro, with log only. Please bring your own geo-pen. And above all, no accidents allowed!!! Okay, okay, the many horses that traverse this area, may have had accidents, but those we will excuse.

Truly, no need to cross the fence. We are not sure if the gates across the parking lot are closed from September to May. The state wildlife area is closed during that time. We planted this cache September 3, and were able to access the parking lot. If you run into difficulties during the "closed time", please let us know and we will post it A.S.A.P.
