Geocache Description:

The VASA trail system is one of the outdoor things that makes Traverse City a great place to live. You can cross country ski on it during the winter and hike or bike on it in the summer, spring and fall. A lot of two tracks are also in the area for off-road activities as well.

The cache is a quart sized plastic jar wrapped in cammouflage tape. To find this cache, it would be helpful to review the map below. On the map, the cache is near the red X.It is a bit of a hike from the trail head at Bartlett Road (off of Bunker Hill). You can drive fairly close to the cache in a regular automobile if you take Holiday Road and keep on going when Holiday Road becomes a two track dirt road. If you have a 4x4, you can make it a “park-n-grab”.
