the cache is located near a concrete structure a couple of miles east of east nicolaus. the old structure caught my eye because of the date "1930" etched into it.
in 1930 the U.S. had entered a serious economic depression. the nazis made gains in german elections. the cyclotron was invented, and the planet pluto was discovered. a cook during the 1930's made a weekly salary of about $17.00, while a physician earned about $61.00 per week.
