are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of
that series created by nwogeo members to highlight cemeteries in
the area. Please be respectful of the area, and observe the posted
hours which are sunrise to sunset.***
Last summer Special K showed me this cemetery out by her parents
house so we decided to place a cache here.
The coordinates take you to a flagpole and rock memorializing the
first settler in this area, Ezra Sanford. To find the secong stage,
take the numbers from the year he came to settle here and add them
up. Take the sum and add to N 42 42.(460) and W
083 57.(914).
Take some time and walk around the cemetery and see some history.
But be careful, it looks like the nasty weather that passed through
the other week knocked some trees over.
