PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE NEARBY ENTRANCES OR ON THE TRACK ITSELF. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WALK A COUPLE OF HUNDRED YARDS FROM THE VILLAGE THEN PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS CACHE. I HAVE THE GOODWILL OF THE NEARBY RESIDENTS AS LONG AS YOU STICK TO THE DESCRIPTION OF ACCESS.
Park almost anywhere in Fintry village, walk down main street in a south easterly direction, a short distance from village turn right up a steep track beside 40mph sign close to cache coordinates.
Unbelievably this area was once a 9 hole golf course, it closed many decades ago and the cache is hidden near the only remaining feature, the clubhouse porch base which holds a clue to it's original use.
The nearby properties are aware of the cache activity.
............9 Nov 2009, Amazingly I was handed a picture of the clubhouse today, this was taken some time after the course was closed, the person in picture made some attempts to restore the clubhouse as a holiday cottage but unfortunately gave up after some time.
