I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. We will be happy to un-archive this cache when it is replaced 90 days and meets the guidelines.

When you perform maintenance and/or replaced your ARCHIVED cache do the following:

  1. Post a "OWNER MAINTENANCE" log entry on this cache page providing an explanation for un-archiving it.
  2. Send email to the reviewer requesting the cache be un-archived, include the link to the cache page or GC######. The reviewer will re-review the cache and if it meets the current guidelines the cache will be un-archived.
  3. After the cache is un-archived by the reviewer you must RE-ENABLE the cache listing.

Small cache on a busy place that will unveil a curious fact for geocachers to know.

Enjoy the city of Ponce, pass to La Guancha, a walk board near the beach and grab this cache before living. Bring a Pen! And be very discrete removing and putting back the cache! Take some pictures and post them here for everyone to enjoy. Please be very muggle deceptive! Español La estatua del León, ubicada en el centro de esta fuente en la que los autos circulan diariamente en el Tablado La Guancha, contiene un dato curioso del cual muchos visitantes desconoce. Mire hacia los ojos de esta majestuosa estatua del León. Pueden ver que su rostro no se asemeja a el de un rey felino, mas bien tiene facciones de una cara humana. Una cara humana conocida por todo los Ponceños. Las facciones del rostro de este León se asemejan a las de el fallecido alcalde de Ponce, Rafael ‘Churumba’ Cordero. Quien estuvo a cargo de la cuidad desde el 1988 hasta su fallecimiento en el 2004. Un alcalde de gran reputación y querido por muchos Ponceños. Muchos lo consideraban un ícono de la ciudad, siendo bautizado como El León Mayor, en referencia al león como símbolo de la ciudad. English The statue of the Lion, located in the center of this fountain that cars circulate daily on the Tablado La Guancha, contains a peculiar data of which many visitors do not know. Watch towards the eyes of this  majestic statue of the Lion. You can see that its face does not resembled the one of a feline king, rather has facials caracteristic of a human face. A human face known by every Ponceño. The factions of the face of this Lion resembles those of  the deceased Mayor of Ponce, Rafael ‘Churumba’ Cordero.  Who was in charge of city from 1988 to his death in 2004. A Mayor of great reputation and loved by many Ponceños. Many considered him an icon of the city of Ponce, being baptized as The Greatest Lion, in reference to the lion symbol of the city.
