Geocache Description:

Horseshoe Quarry is now disused and a popular climbing spot just outside Stoney Middleton, the cache is named after one of the climbs in the quarry.
THERE IS NO NEED TO GO TO THE EDGE OF THE QUARRY TO FIND THIS CACHE



There is parking at N53 16.837 W001 41.454. If you can't get a space here then there is a layby just a short distance up the road. Please take extreme care if you find that you have to cross the road as it is a very busy and fast road!
Follow the gravel track until it bends to the left, at this point continue straight ahead to get you in the vicinity of the cache - from here it's up to you.
From the cache site you should get a good view of the quarry and more often than not, a few climbers too.
There is a spoiler pic should you need it, but it should be fairly easy to get hold of.
