Whilst driving around occassionally we've spotted some interesting topiary features.
We noticed this one a few weeks ago travelling between a couple of the Get Out of Jail caches nearby and couldn't resist coming back to set a cache here. You'll see why when you near the cache site.
The owner is aware of the cache but please be respectful of both him and his property by not visiting too early in the morning or late at night. He's spent the last ten years working on the various topiary in his garden and they now include Rudolph the Reindeer, Charlie Dimmock (who has been know to have a bra put on at special times of the year), a horse and show jumper, plough and horses and of course the main one that is visible whilst driving past made out of the conifer hedge.
The cache should be an easy find so as not to be too intrusive on his property. Please don't cover it up just ensure it's back so as not to be seen and that's its not going to fall out of it's hiding place else Max the dog may be chomping on it after your visit.
Parking not too easy here. We popped on the grass opposite at N53.13.834, W003.26.299 but please ensure care is taken especially of young children as this is a busy road.
Hope you enjoy the cache. The site has had visitors from around the world including as far as America, New Zealand and Switzerland.
