Moni, is a small picturesque village in Naxos, known for his ancient church 'Panagia Drosiani'. This is the oldest church in Naxos island and one of the most ancient Byzantine church of all the Balkanian peninsula. Over the village you will see two other churches. One is Ag. Barbara and the other at the top of the hill is Profitis Elias. From up there you have an excellent view of the island. After you found the cache you can go down to Moni village to have a drink at one of the 'kafeneion' of the village or to visit Panagia Drosiani church.
You can park at 37 05.271N, 25 29.680E where is the yard of the first church Ag.Barbara. North of the church, at 37 05.276N, 25 29.675E, begins the path that will brings you up to the hill. The whole distance from parking area until Pr. Elias is less than 400m but is enough ascent.Follow the red spots until you will find the well engraved path.It's better to have closed shoes because the ground is rocky and at summer time to have with you water.When you reached at Pr.Elias church, follow your GPS unit.
