Walker Dan: Time up for this one to go so removed to make room for a new circular up here.

Geocache Description:

A nice easy drive by.

This is the fourth in my occasional series of drive by caches (two now archived) which generally involve opening gates. There are no gates to open on this one which is good news for lone cachers. If you open a gate you are either lost or in a farmer's field.
I was going to call the cache The Old Hay Rake as an old hay rake ( see picture) has stood on the side of the road here for years but has disappeared in the last 6 months since we were here last - probably in some museum.
There are fine views to Cross Fell to the SW and the Cheviots to the north so try and pick a clear day. Sat and watched a buzzard circling while putting the cache out and we've often seen them up here.
