I was given the opportunity to adopt this cache and was delighted to do so. The view from here is one of the best to be found in the area, and with any luck you will be treated to a sighting of one of the abundance of dolphins that frequent the area where the bay meets the ocean.
Thanks for visiting, and enjoy.
What follows is the original cache listing...
While we were vacationing in July 07' one of The Roy G BV Boys discovered this area. When we returned in Sept to visit (to dip our toes in the cool waters of Cape May for the season) he told us he had found a really nice spot that he had been unaware of and wanted to share it with us.(shame-shame, keeping secrets from us) Well anywho, once we arrived at the area we kind of thought..."what a great area for a cache..." and it just so happens we have two on us. The rest, they say, is history. Please respect this area and CITO if you can. While we were in the area, I was so surprised at the amount of trash one season of summer visitors can bring. The don'ts for this cache are as follows: NO DOGS NO DUNES (Please stay off) NO PARKING AT CACHE SITE NO LITTERING NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES Now for the good news: There is metered parking not far. It might cost you a quarter to do this cache. But careful you don't run out of time. There is also bike parking and that is FREE! So grab a towel and picnic lunch. And don't forget to BYOP. There is only room for a log. No trades on this one. This area is very loverly with its view of nesting Egrets and wonderful views of the CM Lighthouse.
Note: If you do not sign the log that is in the cache you may not claim it as a find. If I check for your sig and it is not there your find WILL be deleted.
