The Ridge
After a nice quiet ride thru the woods, Bill asked me if I wanted to see one of his favorite places. Sure. Sounds good. We drove a bit more, further back, and deeper into the pines... until the road opened up and we went straight up and up and up.
As night began to fall around us, I was struck by how far I could see and how peaceful it was. I hope you enjoy the view as much as we did.
Warning: As always be aware of the limits of your vehicle and yourself. If you don't think your vehicle can make it, turn around or park it and hike in. Like most other areas of the pines, the area shows signs of bonfires and beer cans. Bring a bag to CITO and also be aware of your surroundings.
