The cache is most easily accessed from the Helena Lake Forest Service Site. You can easily drive a car to the campground although it is an unmaintained gravel road. The best road is from the North end of Lac La Hache lake on Wright Station Road, then follow the weathered Helena lake signposts. From the campground a trail goes around to the end of the lake and the cache site. You can hike, bike, ATV or 4x4 right to the cache. Enjoy the view and watch for bears!
The cache is a medium size ammo box. When planted it contained Flag patches, funky notebooks, cool foam stickers, a cable lock, a mini card deck, a carbiner key ring, and a twoonie. Unfortunately I forgot to put in a pen or pencil so if the first person there doesn't mind dropping one off it would be much appreciated!
