The coordinate listed for this cache is the starting point in finding the actual location of the cache that I have hidden. To find the coordinates to the hidden cache you must first go to the above listed coordinates. There you will find two sets of full dates. Write these dates down.
Take the first full date listed: add 28 to the month / add 20 to the day / and subtract 973 from the year. You now have the north coordinates.
Take the second full date listed: add 88 to the month / subtract 6 from the day / and subtract 937 from the year. You now the west coordinates.
Next: Go to the coordinates that you just figured out and find the hidden cache. You will be looking for a clear lock and lock container. Bring a pen to sign the log. Please be careful in this area and watch you step.

This area of Oklahoma got its name from a man that was Illinois’ first territorial Lieutenant Governor. He was a prolific businessman connected with the early fur trade.
This area is the site of the Civil War Skirmish between the Union troops of the Indian Home Guard and the Confederates of Stand Watie's regiment. This was the first Federal effort to retake Indian Territory during the Civil War.
This area is the site of the Muskogee-Fort Gibson stagecoach hold up by Cherokee Bill and The Cook gang. Crawford "Cherokee Bill" Goldsby is buried in the Cherokee National Cemetery, Fort Gibson.
The springs at Manard Bayou has been identified as a Cherokee council ground prior to 1828.
