Estany de Malniu
Fàcil caché en una zona de muntanya molt accesible ja sigui per:
- Meranges, passant pel refugi de Malniu
- Guils de Cerdanya, passant per Fontanera
Anant des de Guils, està asfaltat fins a Fontanera i després 4,5 km de pista totalment apte per turismes (millor amb baixos alts).
Recomanem aquest itinerari ja que hi ha menys kilòmetres de pista.
Per aquesta ruta, arribareu a un prat per aparcar on trobareu un cartell indicatiu que indica estany a 20 mn (mateix temps des del refugi de Malniu al llac). És un camí de suau pendent, apte per a tothom.
Una vegada a l'estany, encara teniu 10-15 mn més de camí per arribar al cache, a un mirador de l'estany.
Nota: Encara que normalment no hi haurà cap problema, és alta muntanya i tant la neu com les condicions meteorológiques podem crear-vos greus problemes. Aneu preparats !
A l'hivern les pistes segurament estaran tancades. Aprofiteu quan estiguin obertes.

- Meranges, pasando por el refugio de Malniu
- Guils de Cerdanya, pasando por Fontanera
Por Guils, está asfaltado hasta Fontanera y después 4,5 km de pista totalmente apta para turismos (mejor con bajos altos).
Recomendamos este itinerario ya que hay menos kilómetros de pista.
Por esta ruta, llegaréis a un prado para aparcar donde un cartel indicativo indica estany a 20 mn (mismo tiempo que desde el refugio de Malniu al lago). Es un camino de pendiente suave, apto para todo el mundo.
Una vez en el lago, aún tenéis 10-15 mn más de camino para llegar al caché, en un mirador del lago.
Nota: Aunque normalmente no habrá ningún problema, es alta montaña y tanto la nieve como las condiciones meteorológicas pueden crearos graves problemas. Id preparados!
En invierno las pistas seguramente estarán cerradas. Aprovechad cuando están abiertas.
Easy cache in a mountain area very accessible by:
- Meranges, through the Malniu refuge
- Guils de Cerdanya, through Fontanera
By Guils, the road is asphalted until Fontanera and then 4,5 km of a good sand road, without problems for all kind of cars (better for the high ones).
We recommend this itinerary because the way by sand road is shorter.
By this route, you will arrive until a field where you can park and you will see a reference poster which indicates 20 mn to the lake (same time than from the Malniu refuge). It is a easy way for everybody.
Once on the lake, you still have to walk 10-15 mn more until the cache, over the lake.
Note:Although it normally does not present any problems, it is located in high mountain so snow and weather can provoke serious problems. Go prepared!
In winter the sand road can be closed. Take advantage of the good weather.
