Riparian Delights
In an episode of “Keeping Up Appearances,” called "Riparian Entertainments", Hyacinth Bucket issues invitations for a “Waterside Supper with Riparian Entertainments” aboard a boat. Reluctant invitees/victims go to their dictionaries to discover “riparian” means “Of or pertaining to the bank of a river or stream.” You will not be forced to wear a sailor suit as you wade through the grass (or snow) to get to the fencey micro-cache. The word “fencey” is not in the dictionary. But it should be.
