Mostly paths, but none are level ! Watch out for cyclists...
FREE car park just over the road, at 52 56.433N 001 15.473W
Navigate to:
52 56.548 N 001 15.487 W ... You are looking for an intricately carved post - there are several on the site ! This one has a bunch of mysterious symbols
carved on its top. HOW MANY SYMBOLS DO YOU COUNT AROUND THE STONE ? - subtract 3 from the total... for cache co-ord "A"
Now find your way to the highest spot around, up we go to a place handy to check your GPS ! Once you have found the pillar of OS, seek out the sun...
Adjacent to the sun you will find a 2 word name... sum all the letters, and take away 9, voila ! cache co=ord "D"
((("Sun" was vandalised !...D=4 )))
Now navigate to:
52 56.621 N 001 15.538 W and find the Devil doing an evil deed... count the humans, and multiply by 3 - to reveal cache co-ord "C"
Time to find an animal:
52 56.612N 001 15.475W ... Identify the beast, If its a squirrel your number be 3, mole = 5, wood pecker = 6.... for cache co-ord "B"
Find that naughty devil doing his worst yet again, at:
52 56.595N 001 15.496W Here he is dropping the stone itself, but from which hand ? LEFT=1, Right=3 For cache co-ord "E"
Now sit ye a while on the bench next to the "cast" itself, sit a while and do some sums ! Whilst there you must seek some ancient text within the very stone,
3 words yet same meaning ! Count the H's and O's - this gives cache co-ord "F"
Time for the prize...
