Geocache Description:

The container has been recycled from the FRED series. Many thanks to Team Evil Fish of Arizona for donating it for this cache.

Indoor caching comes to Carlsbad. The coordinates will take you to the door of a building. Enter the building and walk towards the back. You will be looking for the Pachypodium lamerei. The cache is in plain sight very close by. Please stay on the path. You will not need to leave it. You do not need to disturb the plants. Please replace the cache exactly where you found it. Once again, please stay on the path. BYOP. In summer, it can be very hot in here. Admission to the park is $5.00 per person 13 and older, $3.00 for children 7-12 and free for children 6 and under. Summer hours: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 8AM to 5PM with last entry at 3:30PM. The best time to come in the summer is when the park opens. It's cooler then and the animals are active. Afternoons may be over 100 degrees, not the best time for a hike. Winter hours: Day after Labor Day until Memorial Day weekend, 9AM to 5PM with last entry at 3:30PM Placed with official permission. This is one of three caches in the fee area of the park.
