FTF (Part Quatro) #010:
Where the Sun Don't Shine!
About the FTF (Part Quatro) project:
The First-To-Find Project is a unique project designed for those
cachers who enjoy being quick enough to snag the FTF. See the first
cache in the Triad series for more information: GC12MBC
- FTF (Part Quatro) #001 - Bypass of the Dead. You can see all
of the FTF (Part Quatro) series of caches by viewing the
Project FTF Caches (Triad Area) bookmark list, which is
maintained by
creacher.
Here's how it
works:
Whoever claims the FTF at a Project FTF cache accepts a
responsibility. That cacher must hide a cache which will become the
next cache in the Project FTF series (e. g. FTF Quatro #011). If
you claim the FTF and are unable or unwilling to continue the
project, please make it clear in your log entry that you are
deferring the responsibility to the next finder. There is no
obligation to participate; just sign and get your smiley if that's
what you'd like. However, please communicate this intention in your
online log so that others may continue the series.
If you claim the coveted FTF, please do your part to expedite
this project's spreading. Of course, once the FTF has been claimed,
you may continue to visit this cache!
About this cache:
For those who enjoy my odd style of
caches, here's another fun one! Others might just want to pass
until they know what is required.
ADVISORY: People have gone through the trouble of making
this neighborhood look pretty. Do not set foot on the pine straw or
disturb it; I guarantee the cache is more than five feet from that
area! In fact, just stay out of the plants altogether; when you
find the cache, you will not be in contact with anything green or
brown! I have also slightly offset the cache from ground zero to
deter people from taking the not so stealthy shortcut.
I will now show how to hide an ammo can of any size. The true
ground zero is not accessible the normal way. Please do not
approach that area; it makes people curious and we don't want the
cache to turn up missing.
Due to some concerns about people causing a scene at ground zero,
please choose one of the following coordinates. Please
approach the cache starting from there:
Fisher Park: N 36 05.088 / W 79 47.505
Latham Park: N 36 05.251 / W 79 47.696
As with almost all of my caches, do not forget to bring a pen. From
micros to ammos, I usually don't include one. We're all
well-prepared cachers, aren't we?
Don't forget your camera on this one, folks, it'll be worth
it! Bring a friend to have twice the fun!
