This cache is placed on an abandoned county road. There are 2
houses near this cache. Please be considerate and
do not hunt this cache in the late night or very early morning
hours. The houses are a few hundred yards away and not in
direct view of the cache area, however, we would rather not disturb
these folks in order to keep the cache active and the neighbors
happy. Thank you!
This cache is placed on an abandoned strip of Old Military Road. It
use to connect with the other side of the road before Highway
303/Waaga Way was put in. Those of us that drive Old Military Road
regularly may drive by it everyday and not even notice that it’s
still there. So how do you give an old, forgotten road new life?
Put a geocache there!
We wanted to do something a little different with this cache. Once
you locate the cache it will most likely be within view.
YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO LEAVE THE PAVED ROAD IN
ORDER TO GET TO THE CACHE. PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB OVER OR GO AROUND
THE ROAD BARRIERS! There is another means of getting the
cylinder from it’s location. Just look closely. Once you have
retrieved the cache, logged your visit and make your trades, give
it a good heave in order to get it back to it’s location. It may
take a second attemt to get it in the right place. It is fairly
sturdy and will withstand the moderate bumping that it will have to
endure. Please do not get carried away so that the container does
not get unnecessarily damaged. Good luck to all and Happy

IT DIFFICULT TO RETRIEVE. REPLACE IT AT GROUND LEVEL AS YOU HAVE

OPENING & CLOSING THE
CONTAINER:
The container is to be opened from the square on
the top of the lid. Please do not try to open from the joint. We
would like to thank everyone for getting the lid back on so
securely. We recommend that you might want to bring an adjustable
wrench from home to open the cache but please only hand tighten, as
best as you can, to reclose it. It is very difficult to open if it
is wrenched back on. Thanks a bunch!
