Geocache Description:

This is a small cache with no pen/pencil, please take one to sign the log.
Do make a note of the configuration of golf balls, then you must e-mail us with the name of the molecule it represents to have your find validated. If you do not hear from us it was the correct answer. Look out for golfballs with wings [:O]!!

This cache is on Taith Gron circular walk, set on a public footpath, near a golf course. You could carry on your walk and make it a circular walk back.

Technical Information:
In chemistry, a molecule is defined as a sufficiently stable electrically neutral group of at least two atoms in a definite arrangement held together by strong chemical bonds. In organic chemistry and biochemistry, the term molecule is used less strictly and also is applied to charged organic molecules and biomolecules. Molecules are distinguished from polyatomic ions in the strict sense.
This definition has evolved as knowledge of the structure of molecules has increased. Earlier definitions were less precise defining molecules as the smallest particles of pure chemical substances that still retain their composition and chemical properties. This definition often breaks down since many substances in ordinary experience, such as rocks, salts, and metals, are composed of atoms or ions, but are not made of molecules.
In the kinetic theory of gases the term molecule is often used for any gaseous particle regardless of their composition. According to this definition noble gases would also be considered molecules despite the fact that they are composed of a single non-bonded atom

Basic Information:
Smallest particle of a substance (such as a compound) that exhibits the chemical properties of that substance. A molecule may consist of one atom, but generally consists of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds, eg water molecules consist of two atoms of hydrogen bonded to one atom of oxygen (H2O). A molecule (unlike an ion) has no electrical charge.

Congratulation's to Pieman who was the 1st to find this Geocache on 21/9/07 at 17.05pm.

Alternatively, for the drive-by cacher you could park in the Northop Country Park at N53 11.798 W003 06.997 on the posh estate (houses have three garages, see how the other half live!!) where there is a public footpath to follow to the cache.

Why not pick up Northop Village Vexation GC1224C which is only 30' from parking waypoint.

Other nearby caches -
Only a few hundred feet away from my cache is Migration Station GC1A88T well worth a visit.
Northop Heritage Cache GCRF6N.
Northop's Ford GC15YNQ.
