Geocache Description:

In Napanee, South of the Napanee River. This a 2-stage multi-cache. It is mostly easy walking on a boardwalk but both caches will take you off the main trail a few meters.

This small trek will take you from the first stage (micro cache) in Springside Park to the small cache in the adjoining Conservation Park. The best place to park is at N44 14.671 W076 56.938 in Conservation Park then head NE to Springside Park. Once you find the first cache, you'll be retracing your steps back to Conservation Park and past your vehicle. The second stage is a small camo lock'n lock with lots of goodies such as: a Las Vegas key chain, a carabiner pen, stickers, (a safe) box cutter, coins, an aeromedevac badge, a Crayola marker and more. Of course there is a log book and pencil. Along your route you may see herons, ducks and turtles. There is also a beautiful fountain in the center of the river. If you walk far enough you'll see the Napanee river waterfalls and the unique railway bridge. There is a small tide water marker on an island in the middle of the River. (It is rumoured that at some times the river flows in the opposite direction as in tide waters).
