I have heard the Tecumseh area called "Cacher's Purgatory"
(something about evil mystery caches all over, I don't know what they could mean)
It may keep cachers away from our lovely area. So to solve this possible problem I think we should all get together and address this issue.
How? well here is the plan.
I will host a dinner gathering at the Tecumseh Scout Cabin.
Bring your own dinner and drinks. I will provide the first few tubs if ice cream and some toppings.
What the heck is a Pot-Luck Cache?
You may be asking yourself that very question.
Well ....I would like each cacher/team to bring a ready to place cache container. It should consist of a container, log, pencil, geocaching note and a small FTF Prize. After we eat we will have a drawing and everyone will get a random container to go and hide. Please no Micros. We will then secretly draw random slips to determine a region to place your new cache. There will be no Mystery caches allowed. Just simple multis or regular caches. This should help us get some regular caches placed in the area. Maybe we can make outside cachers feel warm and fuzzy and welcome again!!! :)
We can also have a TB Swap Table set up
If we are lucky and there is some daylight I may have another surprise or two.
