Located on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Cache is 3/4mile from the Watauga Parking area. Best access to the cache is from a small trail on the Abingdon side of trestle #2. Steep hill climbing required and shoes with good traction are recommended. Hill will be difficult for young children to climb on.
Another cache in our Creeper series. This is our first ammo can cache. GPS coordinates were accurate to 14-20ft. Please place cache back just the way it was found. Ammo box replaced on 8/3/19 after being stolen from cache site.
