La cache se situe sur le sentier
pédestre (réalisé par les enfants du SIRAE en collaboration avec
l'ONF). Il permet d'identifier différents arbres typiques de
notre région mais aussi d'observer de plus haut le château féodal de Montcornet.
S'y rendre :
aller dans le village de Montcornet (près de Charleville-Mézières
et de la nationale). Vous verrez l'église et le château au centre
du village. Descendez le long du château sur une petite route très
escarpé. Garez-vous sur le parking de coordonnées :

49°49.677' E 4°37.510' près de la chapelle Marie-Madelon
et de l'étang. Le sentier commence au point :

4°37.479'. Bonne quête et n'oubliez pas, levez les yeux du
GPS,
danger de chute mortelle à proximité de
la cache. Merci de marquer votre visite.
PS :
après la découverte de la cache, continuez sur le sentier, prenez
toujours à droite aux intersections cela vous ramènera à l'église
puis au point de départ.
PS 2 :
Moncornet possède plein d'autres sentiers un peu plus haut dans le
village (suivez les flèches au centre près de l'église).

The hiding place is located along the pedestrian path (realized

Getting there :
Drive to the village of Montcornet (close to
Charleville-Mézières and the main road). You will see the church
and the castle in the center of the village. Go down along the
castle on a narrow steep road. Use the carpark located there:

Marie-Madelon chapel and the pond.

'. Enjoy your search and do not forget to look up from the
GPS, or risk a deadly fall near the hiding
place.
Thanks for signaling your visit in the log book. after the
discovery of the hiding place, continue on the path, keep on the
right at the intersection that will lead you back to the church
then to the starting point.
Moncornet has many other paths a little higher in the village
(follow the arrows at the center of the village, close to the
church)
