A unique container in the woods. The trail is short but fairly steep so take your time.
I have this uncle, Orin Stonebreaker...well not really an uncle, he's more of a family friend from way way back. He's a bit of a black sheep; a full time blacksmith part-time miner part-time mercenary kind of guy. If your roof gets damaged in a storm, Orin will be there the next day to help fix it. Goblins in your basement? Bugbears bothering the live stock?, then Orin is your man. At the same time though he will be teaching the kids to play poker.
My whole life he has been getting me in trouble which brings me to today. This morning when I went to open the shop Orin was sitting on the log outside puffing on his pipe so hard it looked like his beard was on fire.
"Morning Laddybuck, he said, "I need your help with something. It seems that I'm being called out of town to help with a dragon infestation in the Balkins."
"Now wait a second.", I said, "There is no way I'm going to help with dragons after last time."
"No, no, no...something simple. It's a favor for a friend of mine. Seems there is a Gnome who has managed to liberate some of his swag and my friend wants it back."
"Orin, gnomes protect their treasure by throwing acorns full of skunk juice,I don't..."
"Lad! it's not like it's another dragon, and besides your eyebrows grew back. Just get in fast and quiet and you'll be fine."
So that's your quest: Find the Gnome's home, sign the log and bring back a piece of treasure for yourself. Also, worth noting, everyone knows that Gnomes keep a separate vault very close to their homes. You might want to look for that too while you are there for a wider selection of treasure.
