Sure, you can take a shorter route to the cache, but you'll want to take the long one, trust me! nice cleared paths, but don't expect the cache to be right on the path- not far off. you're looking for an ammo box. There is a camera to record the moment how you see fit. "Dogwood Trail" gate locks at 4:30pm, there is a Nature Center and historical area behind that. The parking lot closes at 5:00pm. Cook County Froest Preserve.
