A micro, with a twist. There WILL be bushwhacking involved, you just need to decide which way best to approach the cache site.
Cache is a pillcontainer, well camo-ed. Contains logsheet, pencil and a half-dozen or so lapel pins from across the country. I've been planning this cache for a few months, so I really hope you like it.
It is located near Cape George, on what will eventually become an island if the barrier beach on one side erodes away. Hurricane Juan tore a hole through the beach on your most common approach, at 45 N 44.171 60 W 49.115. There WILL be wading involved, and that water is pretty darn COLD.
The views of the Bras D'Or are spectacular from here, and the area is a popular beach/hiking trail that is one of the featured hikes in Michael Haynes' "Hiking Trails of Cape Breton."
