This cache is near a campground on the shores of famous Lake Towada in the Aomori Prefecture
We camped with a group of 10 people and brought sit atop style kayaks with us (rented from outdoor rec) and had a blast, kayaking and swimming in this gorgeous crystal clear lake. (best water temps are going to be July-Sept) Cabins are availible to rent or bring a Tent if you would rather rough it. This is another typical Japanese style campground, toilets, running water, sinks, all the amentities. Another great spot to camp. Take the trail by the edge of the lake to the cache location, It a big vitamin bottle wrapped in black duct tape. Probably the Nipponcacher's last Japanese Cache... due to our PCSing in November. CACHE ON!
