Geocache Description:

On September 7, 1503 the Grand Duke of Lithuania and the King of Poland Alexander donated the land between the Levuo and Nevezis rivers on the condition that a church was built. This date is supposed to be the birthday of Panevezys, the 5th largest city in Lithuania. The city celebrated it's 1/2nd millenium anniversary in 2003. The church was built in 1507.

The cache is hidden near the monument. It is a regular film canister preloaded with some coins for swag, a couple of pencils and a logbook.

Have fun!
