Cache is located in a rest stop along the #6 highway north.
The small municipality of St. Laurent is located about an hour north of Winnipeg at the heart of Manitoba's Interlake region. This community is home to a growing population of about 1200 people, of which half are of aboriginal or Métis descent. What most people don't know about this community is that it is one of the few places in the world in which the Métis culture is still very much alive with commercial ice fishermen, festivals, and of course the Mitchif tongue, a mixture of Saulteaux or Cree, French and English. It is the unique Métis culture of St. Laurent that inspired some very sharp shovels at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. to unearth this gleaming gem and expose it to the world.
Cache is a micro and contains a log book , small pencil and FTF certificate. Please sign log only, no room for tradables.
