Located at the Red Deer river rest area off highway 40, with easy access and what should be a quick find.
This is a something of a crossroads in the backcountry. From here there are several roads that can be taken. Head west along Panther Rd., north or south on highway #40, northwest on the Ya Ha Tinda Ranch road, or east along Coal Camp Road and take your pick; there's there's back country adventure for hikers, equestrians and cachers out here.
