Geocache Description:

elevation: 1515. quiet, peaceful,easy access.

This cache leads you to a quiet location on a rural road in Venango Co. The place was founded in 1887, by a true pioneer in the oil boom days of the region. As oil became less important in the area, he harvested trees, forming log rafts and floated them on the Alleghany River to Pittsburgh. His decendants still live and rest in this rural area, close to the interstate highway but far enough away for quiet living. The Cache contains log book, carved nut, WD 40 sample, North Carolina pin, green glass piece, sportsmen pin, wooden goose, paramedics sticker, paper clip, duvet repairer, fun boomerang, robot pen, skull strobe, Hug coupon, toothpicks.
