Over The Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Deceangi: Given that there has been 5 Needs Maintenance logs, which the Owner has failed to action. Also given the length of time since the Owner last logged on to GC. I can only presume that the cache has been abandoned, and as such I am Archiving it on those grounds.

DAISY NOOK

Daisy Nook is the name of an area of the Medlock Valley between Oldham, Failsworth and Ashton under Lyne.

The River Medlock runs through a steep-sided, wooded valley between Oldham and Ashton under Lyne, preventing the urban sprawl of the two towns joining up.

The area was originally called Waterhouses, but local writer and poet Ben Brierley called it Daisy Nook in a popular book "A Day Out" and the name caught on.
