Come join us for this Sixth Annual
Georgia Geocachers Association Challenge Event! This year's
Challenge promises to have good food, fun trails, fine friends and
challenging cache hides. This year's hiders have all completed
their six week advanced course in the art of devious hiding
techniques and are itching to test us.
The Challenge this year is being
held again at the Dauset Trails Nature Center near
Jackson, Georgia on October 13th.
We will be playing a variation or
modification of a Poker run. Don't let that discourage you from
playing. The scoring system is more than fair, very generous and
many fine prizes have been won from the extensive prize table. And
many have been won on a hand consisting of only one pair.

Cost per GPSr participant
will be $10.00 to offset the cost of food, drink and sundry.
Please post a note or "will attend" and let us know if you
intend to participate and how many people will be in your
party.

Schedule of Events
10:00 AM -- Check-In Begins -- At the Pavilion.
12:00 Noon -- Lunch -- burgers & hotdogs cooked on the
grill.
12:30 to 1:00 PM -- Start -- cachers begin to head out.
** Three hour time limit on finding the caches.

4:00 PM -- Event Ends -- all cachers must be back.
4:30 PM -- Prizes awarded and general chat.
To facilitate loading
cache coordinates into GPSrs that have a dataport, we plan to have
a laptop available with the coordinates already loaded. You might
want to bring your own data cable, as we may not have the one for
your particular GPSr model.
