The purpose of this cache is to provide a convenient portal for
Travel Bugs that want to head around Australia and the rest of the
World from Melbourne Airport.
Unfortunately, for those familiar with this cache's predecessor,
this one's not as conveniently located for the traveller who has
time to spare in the transit lounges.
After much searching for a suitable location around the airport,
I've ended up at a location a few minutes away from the airport,
just off Mickleham Road, the first cross road of the Tulla Freeway,
just as you leave the airport.
However, one bonus of the new location is that you can park
within 10m and quickly do a TB swap in relative convenience
compared to the old location. One drawback is that during football
and cricket seasons, the cache requires extra stealth when games
are on nearby.
Though it's mainly for travel bug movements it’s also a normal
cache to log and do swaps as usual. It's a 6L container, so bring
what you like with you to swap, as there's heaps of room.
