Courte ballade d'environ 1h sur un terrain légèrement vallonné.
La chapelle Saint Vincent, classée monument historique, est une chapelle de style roman dont les parties les plus anciennes datent du XIème siècle. Elle comporte une nef unique voûtée en berceau. Edifiée sur un lieu de culte, elle a longtemps été utilisée comme paroisse. La colline sur laquelle elle est perchée, habitée par les celtes et les romains jusqu’au Xème siècle, a très tôt constitué une zone de vignobles. La chapelle doit aujourd’hui son nom à Saint Vincent, le patron des vignerons, à qui elle est dédiée.
Cette multi-cache se déroule autour de la chapelle Saint Vincent, qui se trouve être un point stratégique pour de nombreuses ballades à pied ou en VTT autour de Saint Laurent d’Agny. Sa situation permet aussi par temps clair d’avoir un point de vue assez exceptionnel sur Lyon et la chaîne des Alpes.

Pour démarrer la ballade, rendez-vous au Way Point N°1 (N 45° 38.950' E 004° 39.724') où vous trouverez quelques places pour vous garer si nécessaire…
Comptez le nombre d’arbres le long de la barrière (A= ), puis empruntez le chemin qui part vers le bois de Bouchat (suivre l’indication VTT, circuit bleu).
Poursuivez sur environ 2 km le chemin qui descend doucement puis entreprend une légère montée après un passage au creux d’un ruisseau, jusqu’au Way Point N°2
(N45°(3*A-1).(A*70-1)’ E004°(3*A+1).(A*40 – 8)’).
(Ways Points intermédiaires : N 45°39.255’ E 004°39.867’, N 45°39.104 E 004°40.024)
Notez l’altitude indiquée sur le panneau signalétique
(B = ).
Remonter jusqu’à la chapelle Saint Vincent. Comptez le nombre de vitraux (C = ).
Dirigez vous vers le Way Point N°3 (N45°(3*A-1).(345+B+C)’ E004°(3*A+1).(B - C*C).
Notez l’altitude des Dômes de Miage (D= ).
Notez le jour de la fête de la Saint Vincent (E = ).

Rendez-vous à la cache située à la position :
N 45°(3*A-1).(D/5 + 6*A -1)’
E 004°(3*A+1).(B + 4*C +1)’
NB: la somme de tous les chiffres définissant la latitude doit être égale à 3... Il en est de même pour la somme des chiffres définissant la longitude!

The chapel “Saint Vincent”, classified as a historical monument, is a chapel of roman style, which has been built for most parts in the XIth century. The hill on which the chapel is edified, which has been populated by the Celts and the Romans until the Xth century, has soon been famous for its vineyards. The chapel “Saint Vincent” is now named like that after “Saint Vincent” who is considered to be the guide of the vineyard men.
This multi-cache will take you for a small walk around the chapel “Saint Vincent”, which constitutes a strategic point for those who perform hiking or biking around Saint Laurent d’Agny. If the weather is good enough, there is also possibility to get a beautiful sight at the city of Lyon and as well at the highest mounts of the Alps.

To start the search, go to Way Point N°1 (N 45°38.940’ – E 004°39.517’) where you will be able to park if necessary…
Count the number of trees along the barrier (A = ), then take the trail that leads to the « bois de Bouchat” (follow the VTT sign, blue trail).
Pursue on about 2 km the trail that go down slowly then start a gentle slope after crossing a small river, until Way Point N°2
(N45°(3*A-1).(A*70-1)’ E004°(3*A+1).(A*40 – 8)’).

Note the altitude written on the sign (B = ).
Go up to the chapel of Saint Vincent. Count the number of windows (C= ).
Go to Way Point N°3 (N45°(3*A-1).(345+B+C)’ E004°(3*A+1).(B - C*C).
Note the altitude of the “Dômes de Miage” (D = ).
Note the day of Saint Vincent celebration (E = ).
