Geocache Description:

Getting to the cache location will take very little work, but getting the container out will be a small task. Someone removed the original log book (a small black and white marbled composition notebook). Now the Harry Potter book is the log book. This was originally supposed to be a trade item.

One Sunday afternoon after church we, the family, decided to place a cache on the grounds of the church we attend. After getting the OK from the head of the grounds we went to place our box in an area tucked away from foot traffic. On these grounds there used to be a farm with a main house that was two stories tall, painted white, with a fireplace and chimney. Were the box is placed you can see the remnants of the house. There were also barns and an area that may have been used for parking cars, or tractors. All of this is now gone, and in its place a new building was constructed for New Horizon Church. This cache has been approved by the faculty of NHC. Feel free to stop in and say hello to any of the staffers that are there Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

Parking is plentiful, and you don't have to be stealthy. Feel free to stop by this cache on a Sunday morning. It is available at all times day or night. If you are interested in joining us for a service they are at 9:00am and 11:00am - ear plugs available ;) (We like loud music)

This cache is an ammo box that's been painted CHROME! We filled it with some dinky swag that would be perfect for young ones to play with. If you bring kids to the spot, dress for a wooded area with rocks and old sheet metal. There are a few boards from the old buildings that have old nails in them. Keep in mind that snakes like to hide in crevices, and don't stick your hands where you can't see. Please use care when retrieving the cache so you don't get scraped up on the rocky area it's in.

By searching for this cache you agree to accept responsibility for your own actions. By looking for this cache you release the church, New Horizon Church, from any and all liability associated with injury. Be smart and don't do something dumb. The worst that I could imagine here would be needing a tetanus shot, or getting a twisted ankle - but those are both extreme circumstances, and I'm only adding this disclaimer due to it being on property that NHC was nice enough to let our family use.
