Most people may not know about the drag racing that use to (or maybe still does) late Saturday nights on Rte 2.
Guys would meet up on weekends at Cruise Ave in Huntington back in the 80's to mid 90's which is now the site of Pullman Square. They would find a race and make the short trip up WV Rte 2 to the concrete section near Greenbottom and race for money, pink slips, or just the thrill of it.
Of course all of this went on late Friday and Saturday nights when there is little to no traffic on the road.
I placed this cache to bring back some memories of the crazy and unlawful things that us as teenagers use to do for fun......
The cache is a camo 6x6 lock and lock container with log book and room for small trade items.
