Geocache Description:

This cache is a tribute to both the finders of the area as well as those who follow International Talk like a Pirate day. In 2007 this was celebrated on September 19th.

The tower close to this cache was built to commemorate the bicentenary of the sighting of Cape Northumberland, Cape Banks, Mt Schank and Mt Gambier by Lt James Grant on 3/12/1800 while aboard the Lady Nelson.
