Bird's Eye View Traditional Cache

A fairly easy cache placed on the edge of woods on Shortwood Common, with a great view out to sea across Budleigh.
GPS was a bit erratic in the trees and the coords given are the average of about 20 we took on 2 visits with 2 different devices! We have therefore improvised with a carrier bag that we CITO’d, to place a yellow marker nearby so that you will know when you are in the right area.
There are quite a few ways to approach the cache depending on the length of walk you want. For the shorter routes, there is limited parking at the start of the bridle paths in both Bear Lane and Dalditch Lane, or at the start of the footpath near Tidwell House for a stroll across farmland during better weather.
