**Sept29** Petersfield Picnic Park A Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

lady debenedictis: I'm archiving all of my caches. I found the rules before to be restrictive and oppressive. As guidelines they are alright, but as a law, they are not. It is my money, my time, my caches and I resent having anybody trying to control the way I choose to play the game. I do not believe that you have the right to enforce any of these new sorts of rules, even geocaching.com only uses them as guidelines and I feel that this is a control issue at your end, and I wont be a part of it. I'm moving my caches to a different site.

ps. I will be forwarding a letter to geocaching.com's complaints department on the way cache volunteer reviewing is being handled on this end.

Geocache Description:

Set out in Petersfield Park in Westmount for the Cape Breton Celtic Caching Event 2007.

Cache is a duct-tape wrapped tobacco container, hidden near one of the trails in Petersfield Provincial Park, a popular walking area on Sydney Harbour.

The park is named after Col. Samuel Park who was granted land at Amelia Point in 1787 after the US War of Independence. His property became known as "Peter's Field", the name which has stuck around to this day.
