Geocache Description:


This cache has been placed on state land off of Birch Run Road in Allegany. The cache is amongst several large interconnected ponds. A large wooden pier was constructed by the parking lot and a third of a mile asphalt path runs between the ponds. A very pleasant walk for the nature lover with many types of birds to be seen. Several game fish in addition to the very elusive carp are present in the many waters. If your an angler from France, where carp are prized, maybe you can hook one of them. My money is on the carp in the waters along their trail.
