The Edge of the Wilderness  National Scenic Byway
Celebrate our northern hospitality, hometown pride and the treasures of our natural heritage. The adventurous voyageurs of nearly 300 years ago discovered it and now you can too, The Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway.
You don't need an excuse to spend time on Highway 38 during the Fall of the year, the colors of the season are usually enough reason for a pleasurable drive. But if it's not Fall, maybe a little Geocaching is a good excuse too.
This cache is located along the walking paths at the Marcell Community Recreation area. There are tennis courts, horseshoe pits, walking path, picnic tables, restrooms and a playground for the kids. Pack a lunch and enjoy the area for a few hours. It's a wonderful place to take the family.
Congrats to Cushman Rider, he was the FTF and grabbed the $1 Presidential Gold coin. Ole & Lena received the unregistered geocoin as the STF.
