Geocache Description:

This cache is on relatively flat ground. There is abundant parking available with no need to worry about traffic. The cache is a camo'ed plastic Folgers container. Inside is a log book, mechanical pencil and a couple of trade items. The area were this is hidden is the site of one of few manufacturing facilities left in Batavia NY. The business located here had started it's roots in Interlaken NY in 1867 by two brothers who saw a need for making footwear after the Civil War.

Over a period of time , it had been decided to move the operations to Batavia at a site located on State Street Road. During Urban Renewal in the 1970's the company was again moved to its current location. Permission has been granted by the owner of this facility to place the cache here.
