Geocache Description:

Welcome to Devon! This cache was placed here as the Devon contribution to the Little Quest, a countrywide cache hunt where you have to find a special cache in each county of England. You should make a note of the numbers written inside the container if you intend to try to find the final LQ cache. Good luck!

Update: 28th September 2022: Cache has been moved to a place which should avoid the worst of the nettles and brambles. Cache is a 140ml lock'n'lock painted camo.

Little Quest Geocaching (UK) Little Quest Statistics

This cache was placed here because of the view across the Axe Valley and out to sea. Devon is well known for its beaches and coastpaths, as well as rolling hills and valleys. This cache gives you a view of both. This is a popular place for people to take their dogs for a walk, so beware of muggles!

From the cache site, you will be able to see right up the Axe valley towards Axminster.

The interesting white building opposite the parking area is the Old Water Tower which used to supply water to the town of Seaton below. It was converted to a private dwelling many years ago, and commands fantastic panoramic views. The town below you is Seaton, and the village on the other side of the River Axe is Axmouth. I hope you enjoy this splendid view of my home town in Devon, and I wish you lots of luck with the rest of the Little Quest across England!
